A native of Scotland, Joe Grant lives in inner-city Louisville with his wife and family. An author, retreat presenter, and spiritual director, Joe is also co-founder of CrossRoads Ministry retreat center, which serves young people across the Archdiocese of Louisville and beyond.
Joe studied philosophy and missiology at the Missionary Institute in London, England and received his Master of Divinity degree from Catholic Theological Union, Chicago. While he was a member of the Xaverian Missionary Congregation, he ministered in Europe, the U.S. and South America.
Joe served as Consultant for Youth Ministry for the Archdiocese of Louisville. As Director of Programs for JustFaith Ministries for twelve years, he created nationally recognized programs for youth and adults. In 2004 he received the National Federation for Catholic Youth Ministry award for Gospel Values of Peace and Justice. Joe has led many retreat and workshops across the U.S and authored numerous articles and book on scripture, social justice, and spirituality.
