Lori joined the Passionist Earth & Spirit Center team in July of 2021. She was born and raised in Louisville and that’s where she plans to stay. Lori has been married to the love her life for more than two decades and they are raising their four young adult children. Her family belongs to the St. William’s Community. Lori can be found on walks with her friends, watching movies with her family, writing creative stories, or listening to podcasts. One of her top priorities is an openness and acceptance of all people especially those who have not found that safe space to land yet. That’s why she continues her passion of working with teens and young adults.
Lori has a BA in Psychology from the University of Louisville. She earned a Master’s Degree in Pastoral Ministry from Loyola University of New Orleans in 2018, as well as Certification of Spiritual Direction from the Sisters of Charity of Nazareth in 2018, and her teaching certification for Koru Mindfulness in 2021. She became an Ursuline Associate in 2019.
Lori has over 17 years of experience in education that includes teaching high school theology (Holy Cross), service coordinating (St. Bernard), directing retreats (Sacred Heart Academy), writing and leading meditations, and creating and developing leadership organizations for teens. She authored the blog faithfilledmom.com for 9 years as well as a podcast of her original guided meditations and short stories, Mindfulreprieve.com.
