Tim teaches in our School of Earth Literacy where he supervises the Environmental Interns, leads Environmental Justice and Sustainable Solutions bus tours, teaches in our Camp Odyssey, hosts school field trips on-site, speaks to groups off-site, teaches “Living Simply” and “Becoming an Earth Advocate” classes, facilitates our “Lunch and Learn” programs, provides teacher in-service events, oversees the land management where he coordinates volunteers, and assists with the accounting and compliance functions.

Tim has a Masters in Environmental Education from the University of Louisville and a Masters in Sustainability and Environmental Management from Harvard University.  He is also a certified Project Wet instructor.

Tim has been with the Earth & Spirit Center for over ten years. He teaches as an adjunct professor in the Department of Environmental Studies at Bellarmine University.  He is also the founder and former Executive Director of Kentucky Interfaith Power and Light, a non-profit organization that works to help people make the connection between theology and ecology. He serves on the board of directors of the Louisville Climate Action Network and is on the Advisory Committee for the Louisville/Jefferson County Metro Government Waste Management District.
