Camp Odyssey continues with Outdoor Adventures in Nature – Week 6- July 18
Nature Campers will start this week with day camping, pitching a tent, learning to build a fire, roasting marshmallows, pretending to sleep under the stars, and camping together. There will be a day of everything hiking; fashioning hiking sticks, creating a bag to carry your belongings, food for the hikers, a scavenger hunt on the trails, and hiking! A day of birding, devoted to our feathered friends, observing, creating our own bird’s nest, building bird houses, eating and nesting like birds. Nature Campers will be challenged with survival skills through fun games, art projects, and stories. The last day will culminate in make believe adventures, capture the flags, lots of games on the trails.
