Class Description
As the Dalai Lama says, all human beings have a common desire to be happy. For many of us, our dogs are a major source of happiness. To strengthen the ways we find joy with our dogs, we’ve designed a one-day retreat. During this time, we will honor the relationships we have with our dogs and explore new ways in which our pet companions enhance our happiness. The day will include some exciting research about the dog/human connection, but the focus will be on our experiences with our dogs and how they learn from us and vice-versa. We will explore particular practices that we can incorporate to strengthen the connection with our dogs and increase our own peace, joy, and connection to the world in the process.
