This four-week course will give participants the ability to gain insight into the N.E.A.R sciences - Neuroscience, Epigenetics, ACEs, & Resilience - recognizing the impact of these concepts on our brains, bodies, and personal wellbeing. They will explore and apply the work of such experts as Dr. Bruce Perry, Dr. Stephen Porges, Dr. Rick Hanson, Resmaa Menakem, & Dr. Jill Bolte Taylor, understanding how the science of stress & resilience is interconnected with mindfulness & wellbeing. They will also explore the Mind-Body connection, understanding the interconnection of both the science & ancient wisdom of mindfulness. Finally, participants will practice the Pause by experiencing a variety of mindfulness practices rooted in science to support resilience & personal wellbeing.

This course will meet on Monday evenings from 7:00 – 8:30p in person in the barn or online in a Zoom meeting format.
$100, or $90 early bird pricing until 2 weeks before class begins. Some scholarships available upon request.
