Class Description
On the first Saturday of each month, the Earth & Spirit Center becomes a place of silent meditation. The format begins with a brief introduction leading into the silence, followed by a half-hour sit with guidance, a stand-up break with a few qigong movements, then a 45-minute sit with guidance, leading us into our month of at-home life practice. The whole experience is more about awareness-based learning, rather than thought-based learning, and it is for beginning and experienced meditators. The goal is learning to recognize the sacred in ourselves and in all of life, creating a supportive community of like-hearted seekers, and accessing an inner peace that can transform the outer world.
