This course offers you the opportunity to take your meditation practice out of the classroom and into the world. Each week, we will offer lessons and guided practices to cultivate your sense of connection and belonging in the natural world that you can do on your own. In addition to ecology lessons held in various locations around the diverse ecosystems of the 27-acre Earth & Spirit Nature Sanctuary, there will be mindfulness-based lessons and guided meditations that invite you to connect deeply to the natural environment. We hope that this class will support your inner exploration through journaling prompts and resources for diving deeper. We also hope to hold weekly in-person sessions out-of-doors with participants safely distanced on the property of the Earth & Spirit Center where we will process the week’s practices and give participants the opportunity to share their experiences with each other. This format is subject to change based on the status of the coronavirus.
Weekly classes on: May 14, 21, 28 and June 4 from 11:00 am to noon.
