
Class Description
This course is designed to educate participants on the intersecting factors that impact mental health, the mind-body connection in relation to mental health, and how to implement mindfulness practices into one’s daily life to improve mental health. Included in this course will be education and discussion surrounding how the pandemic has impacted the mental health of individuals, families, and communities. Your presenter is Dr. Hannah Bland, who is currently an Assistant Professor at Spalding University in the Clinical Mental Health Counseling Program. Dr. Bland will utilize both her educational and clinical experiences to create a safe and beneficial learning environment that blends both knowledge and lived experiences. Her goal is to utilize this time to educate and empower participants to improve their mental health during this difficult time period.
