More than ever, the world needs citizens who are prepared to engage with the environmental challenges that impact our communities and advocate for the poor and vulnerable people that are impacted first and hardest by them. This group offers a supportive space to learn about environmental issues and become empowered to work for a just and equitable transition to a more sustainable world.
The Earth Advocate Group offers a common ground for understanding environmental issues and exploring sustainable futures. Every month, interested people from different backgrounds gather to explore these issues and discuss solutions and opportunities to become engaged. Through guest speakers and dialogue, participants engage in creative and practical thinking from multiple perspectives, with the goal of creating informed global citizens committed to a just, equitable and sustainable world. No reservation or registration is necessary; you are welcome to come as you are able and inclined.
Join us on the second Wednesday of each month at noon.
