Silent Sit & Zen Walking Meditation
with Hex S. Persephone
Begin your Sunday in stillness.
This 5-week meditation series offers a gentle, grounding space to slow down, reconnect, and cultivate inner peace through silent sitting and mindfulness-meditation walking. Rooted in contemplative Christian mystic, Zen traditions and presence-based teaching, each session invites you into direct experience with “being in awareness” —no prior meditation background needed, just a desire to calm, destress, and be at peace for the duration of the sit and walk periods. Expect to maintain group silence without verbal cues for 45 minutes.
Each gathering includes periods of seated meditation and brief Zen walking (kinhin), with light introductory guidance to support awareness, breath, and self-inquiry. Held mostly in silence, this practice allows you to settle deeply, calm the mind, and reconnect with yourself in a supportive community.
Whether you’re new to meditation or looking to deepen your practice, all are welcome.
