Step away from the noise and reconnect with what matters most at the Earth and Spirit Center. Rooted in a vision of one sacred Earth community where all can flourish, our one-day retreats invite schools, churches, organizations, and businesses to slow down, reflect, and renew on our peaceful 27-acre nature preserve.

Each retreat is customized to meet your group’s unique goals and interests. Experiences may include guided hikes, mindfulness and meditation, hands-on care for the land, team-building activities – including Challenge Course elements – and earth care education. Together, these offerings create a meaningful day of connection, inspiration, and transformation—for individuals, teams, and communities alike.

Team Building:
Set within our 27-acre nature preserve, these retreats immerse participants in outdoor challenges that promote collaboration, communication, and problem-solving. Through mindfulness and experiential learning, individuals connect with themselves, each other, and nature. Guided activities foster trust, improve communication, skills, and strengthen relationships- all while having fun in a natural setting.

Our Place in Nature: Reconnect with the natural world and rediscover your place within it. These retreats blend hands-on environmental service projects with engaging activities like guided meditation, hiking, and nature-based games. Participants explore the profound impact of being part of an interconnected ecosystem, and reflect on their role in the web. They gain a deeper appreciation for the environment and their responsibility to care for it, fostering a renewed sense of purpose and connection.

Community and Compassion: These retreats cultivate meaningful connections rooted in compassion. Through mindful listening, introspection, and nature walks, participants reflect on their experiences and deep in their bonds with one another. Engaging in small-group discussions and community-building activities, participants work together to nurture understanding and compassion in the world that often feels divided. These retreats offer a space for renewal, fostering lasting connections, and deep appreciation for the power of compassion.

Mindfulness: In a world of constant distraction, these retreats offer a serene space to cultivate mindfulness and presence. Set against the backdrop of nature’s calm, participants are guided through meditation practices, mindful breathing exercises, and mindful walks. These activities help individuals tune in to the present moment, allowing them to reduce stress, enhance focus, and develop a deeper sense of inner peace. Through self-awareness and gentle reflection, these retreats encourage participants to cultivate a mindful approach to life that extends beyond the retreat, helping them foster clarity, resilience, and emotional balance.

Confirmation: Designed for students preparing for the sacrament of Confirmation, these retreats help them reflect on the gifts of the Holy Spirit and discover how these gifts empower them to serve others. Through team-building, contemplative prayer, nature hikes, and self-reflection, participants explore the sacrament of Confirmation within a sacramental approach to creation. These retreats offered a sacred space to recognize and nurture the participants’ unique gifts, connecting them with both their faith and the world around them.

Customized Retreats: We offer personalized retreat experiences tailored to meet the specific needs of your group. Whether you are seeking a focus on mindfulness, community-building, or spiritual growth, we work with you to design a retreat that aligns with your goals and vision.
