Camp Odyssey

Camp Odyssey now has a four-week summer camp series! Watch your kids or grandkids come alive with excitement during these weeklong day camp experiences as they learn about their inner selves, their connection to others, and their essential belonging to the awe and wonder of the natural world, with weekly themes related to discovering the secrets of our Earth. Campers will explore our 27- acre nature preserve, hike the trails, garden in the camp vegetable garden, and play on our new SpiritScape nature discovery area. Camp counselors will ignite their imagination with music, art, stories, journaling, and games, lots of fun games. This camp series is designed to give children the time, space, and resources to start a life-long relationship with nature. We can’t wait to get started!

As they explore the woodlands and meadows of our 27-acre nature sanctuary, work and play with our artists, garden and environmental educators, chefs, yoga and meditation instructors, and musicians, kids come to understand how ecosystems work, where their food comes from, and how to be more mindful and compassionate toward themselves, others, and their surroundings. 

Weeks 1 -4 – Camp Odyssey

We have early drop off and late pickup now available. The price is $75/week (price is for morning OR afternoon - $150/week for BOTH mornings AND afternoon). You can opt in for either/both during your registration.

For cancellations received by April 1, all but a $75 processing fee is refundable. There are no refunds after April 1.

Q&A

Q: My kids have loved attending Camp Odyssey in the past, will it be the same this year or will you have different programming?

A: We have new instructors that will have new lesson plans. We always try to vary our programming but stick to our mission of giving your children a way to connect to the Earth through arts, music, food, mindfulness and more!

Q: Can I request my child be placed in a group with a friend? How are groups formed?

A: We always accept requests for children to be placed with friends. Groups are formed by ages so if the children are not the same age, this will be more difficult but not impossible.

Q: What should my child bring to camp?

A: We ask you to bring a lunch without nuts, put sunscreen on your child, bring a water bottle with their name on it, wear shoes that can hike or get muddy, bring a hat if your child prefers that in warm weather.

Q:  What do you do with the children in the event of poor weather?

A: We will stay outdoors with light rain and move indoors if we have threatening weather.

Any child attending  Camp Odyssey is expected to be kind, safe and respectful at all times. By registering for camp you acknowledge the following:

Camp Odyssey is committed to a safe educational environment for all of our campers and staff, free from harassment, intimidation or bullying. We focus on redirecting any inappropriate behavior, as well as using positive narration to help encourage appropriate behavior. A very important part of our program is giving children the opportunity to learn how to get along in the world, enjoy being with other children, problem solve and follow the direction of an adult other than their parents. A caring and positive approach will be taken regarding behavior management and discipline.

Camp Odyssey has a zero tolerance policy for hitting, fighting, bullying, verbal threats, destruction of property, and elopement (leaving their group) during our program. If these behaviors are exhibited the Instructors are trained to contact parents for immediate pick up depending on the severity of the incident.
