This comprehensive introductory 10-week course gives you a complete overview of the practice of mindfulness meditation. It presents meditation in a clear and straightforward way, offering you step-by-step guidance for developing a personal meditation practice using mindfulness. The course includes: basic instruction in the techniques of mindfulness meditation that come from various spiritual traditions; the psychological principles and scriptural underpinnings of the practice; and clear guidance for bringing the fruits of the meditation practice into everyday life.
We plan on having these classes in person, with a remote option for those who wish.
Two course options for Fall 2021:
- Monday mornings – 11:00am - 12:30 pm
- Monday evenings – 7:00 - 8:30 pm.
- Sept 13, 20, 27, Oct 4, 11, 25, Nov 1, 8, 15, 22

This course will be conducted in person, in accordance with current (at the time of class) CDC and state COVID safety guidelines. At the time of this writing, this will mean that fully vaccinated people will not be required to wear masks or social distance. If you have not been fully vaccinated, we would ask you please to wear a mask for your own safety and the safety of others. An online Zoom option is available if you are uncomfortable with in-person gatherings under these terms. Please check in with us if you have any questions prior to registering or attending class.
